It should have been obvious before Opening Day...yesterday wasn't the first time Parnell showed a loss of velocity. How do they miss something like this?

Have little CAHNfidence he or Niese will do much of anything this year.

Fortunately for us Parnell is just a closer. I'm pretty sure we'd get between near the same save efficiency from any random dude under contract including Gonzalez Germen. Looks like they will recall Farnsworth but hopefully only until Vic "King of All" Black gets straightened out.

I think Familia could close.

Personally I'd bring up Dice-K, followed by DeGrom. Black's spring performance screamed "not ready yet." We have plenty of depth in starters, and we should take advantage of that.

I think it's obvious that Valverde will close until/unless he gives the Mets reasons to look elsewhere.
