Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Because tomorrow is another day. Another day without baseball. But the day after that? Hey!
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Juan Lagares CFWilmer Flores 2BDavid Wright 3BCurtis Granderson RFChris Young LFJosh Satin 1BTravis dArnaud CRuben Tejada SSBartolo Colon RHP
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 The lineup of the future, here today!I'm excited to see some Flores action and i like the Satin-platoon idea. Platooning was popular in the pre-steroid era and looks to be making something of a comeback.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 I like the lineup also...Now hit team...hit...
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Chris Young appears to have reinjured his quad... I like this signing even less now...

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Plenty of OF's in the system to find out about...Duda even...This looks like a one month quad...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Colon was getting away with far too many loud outs early on to think that it wasn't going to come back and bite him sooner or later.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 More gopher in this inning-- like FK said, even the outs are billowy-- than the Caddyshack denouement.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Watching Colon bunting was rather comical.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Colon served up a meatball there to give up the leadoff single. I'm surprised he's willing to share the meatballs with another person.HIYO
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 So did the new rules influence Tejada on that non play at the plate? and keith is correct, no wheels.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 metirish wrote:So did the new rules influence Tejada on that non play at the plate? They shouldn't have. You're still allowed to hit the catcher if he's in the line and has the ball; you just can't go out of your way to hit him if he doesn't. and keith is correct, no wheels.Ruben does lack in the wheels department.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Looks like the Mets are already in mid-season Citi Field form, as far as actual fans in attendance are concerned. Which is to say, nobody's at the game.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 That's a 10-pitch strikeout for Grandy. #progress!
