nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Ottoneu sounds like a great concept with a joke of a system from what i have read here the last two years.

Didn't re-start.oh, I'd already clicked off at that point. Looks like it was 3 hours after our slot..perhaps we got bumped from the server or something? I didn't know that was going to happen or I wouldn't have stopped paying attention. Guess you'll have to fill out the fringes if you want via the waiver wire. I'm not sure what else we can do.Yes, they could certainly use more dedicated programmers and attention.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I agree. I love the idea, but the interface can be terribly confusing at times.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Stupid interface not only gave me the wrong guy when I searched by name but after I began auction it tells me:Current AuctionsClick 'Edit' and change your bid $0 in order to delete a bidbut there's no "edit" button to be found and changing a bid to "0" doesn't appear to take him off the block.Let it be known that the current auction for Brett Zawacki is not cromulent and should be canceled unless or until he changes his name to Kevin Plawecki, at which point I'd like to bid $1
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 maybe an edit button this page? (dunno, I don't have any bids in)http://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/209/playercard?id=9749

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 nope. if nobody else bids, he's yours for $1, wether you want him or not.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 i should rename my team the tommy johns. i've already got at least 3 on my roster.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 This must be the standings of our rosters now based on last year's stats?I knew this was going to be a rebuilding year, but this makes me feel less positive about my draft. Yikes!

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Forgot about those Dodger games. Thanks!

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 i wish they would get around to putting my clearly injured and out for hte season guys on the 60-day DL already. dude just had TJ. he ain't coming back anytime soon. clear up the damned roster spot already!
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Roughened Odor. I wish I'd known that was a dude. He had to have the nick "Stinky" at some point in his life, no?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I bid for the guy not even knowing what he did (he's a second baseman)
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Great team name and all (like, GREAT), but I suck at this.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 It's a long season. Injuries will happen and change the landscape of the standings a few times over.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 I'm still struggling with remembering to check lineups everyday, particularly the weekends.

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 eventually, my offense should heat up... right?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I'm paying the price for my patience with Grandyman. What a complete rate-killer that guy's been.

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 i have 3 pitchers and 1 position player on my payroll (either salaried or as a cap-hit) who have undergone tommy john surgery this year:patrick corbin (60-day DL)josh johnson (cut)bruce rondon (cut)andmiguel sanostupid ligaments...
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 my pitching is doing remarkably well considering $57 clayton kershaw has given me one start in australia, and may not pitch until mid may. hopefully it holds up...

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I'd have more sympathy if you weren't the defending champion with a healthy lead again this year. *wink*
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Yeah, and you hadn't stolen 2 relief pitchers I'd bid on.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Damnit, second place! My kingdom for a home run hitter...
