Yeah, but for all the hitting this guy has done so far he is far from a polished ballplayer.
He missed a squeeze play the other day *as the runner!!* which, considering the sign to the runner is a verbal one from the 3rd base coach, it's quite a trick. He's also been known to, in a quote from his manager, "run until he's tagged out", and the next cut-off man he hits from the OF just might be his first.

IOW, maybe the take sign WAS ON.
