It's almost like he was told he was going to be on a short list in the second half and has deliberately altered his style to conserve pitches.

On an 11.57-pitches-per-inning pace. Looking now at 104.14 thru nine.

We've played so many long games this year that it's almost weird to check the scores of the other games in progress between innings and see that our game is ahead of every other one.
[crossout:2wfew8af]Nearly[/crossout:2wfew8af] seven complete innings yet still well under 2 hours. 2 hours lately has meant the top of the 5th.

I have absolutely no memory of Kit Pellow.

oe: that hit they're talking about that broke up a Tom Glavine no-hitter was one of 52 hits that Pellow had in his ML career.

Really hate that railing/fence.

They should have a little garden between the rail and the fence. With a little path running thru it.

A PATH! A PATH!

That hit him right in the fuckin kneecap. I'd still be screamin.

Excellent performance. Great and smart pitching by the looks of it.

Ron had that right. The adrenaline dulls the pain. You call for the ball and sack up.

Ten minutes later, the adrenaline abates and you're miserable as hell.
