Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Nice to see Q not struggling tonight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Now that Recker has PH'd, Mrs. Buck really needs to keep her legs crossed for the next hour or two.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 This guy's mouth is all over his glove.

Ike Davis might never have another 3 hit game in his life but getting him around the bases is impossible on this team. And that's even with the guy behind him (Q) getting two hits, plus a bunt, plus a walk.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I didn't expect that.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Bob Costas is going to be pissed off
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Young doesn't have that kind of power, does he? He must really like OAR.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I was just thinking earlier today that Young doesn't drive the ball nearly often enough. He drove that one!

Umps used to be anal about seeing it through to the end.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Young was actually surprised by the pieface, lol.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Good thing they went with Hawkins there on pie duty; I'm pretty sure Turner would have rolled it weakly to second.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 So now, who is going to be the starting pitcher tomorrow?Later
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 They always have that net above the food area beyond right? If I was there Id want a chance to catch a homer. Thats fkd up.

Thats fkd up.they put it up when they moved the walls. They do that in public CF areas a lot, I don't get it myself.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 One minor bit of good news is that the 51s are playing in that great Pacific Coast city of Nashville. So Lutz or Flores or whoever should be able to get a redeye flight and be in Queens in time for tomorrow's day game, presumably as the starter at third base, if he's able to answer the bell.

Which I would think means we're going to see a lot more Satin/Turner in the lineup at 3B.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 And probably some Eric Young at second.
