G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I believe it's time for this losing streak to fly.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Was this your photo? Were you in the group of people who got to stand stage-side?PS, the guitar player's longhair-highlighted-combover-and-black-eyebrow thing was nothing less than creepy. But that bass player's hair was fabiotastic.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2012 Author Posted June 16, 2012 Grabbed photo from @Mets Twitter feed. We stayed in 509, moving a few rows up to take in the grandeur of the Wagon, which meant watching the big screen.A few too many "NEW YORK CITY!"s for my taste and not enough (that is no) "Keep The Fire Burnin'" but for a band from the Midwest that peaked 30+ years ago, well done, I thought.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Here's my vantage point. Grey hair guy and blonde wife were sucking face at one point. Stay tuned for the surprise at 0:52.[youtube:31mugpau]uhKQo4mTUAY[/youtube:31mugpau]
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I was pulling out of the parking lot onto 126th by the time Freese swung at the third strike in the no-hitter 9th inning recap they did. Concerts not really my thing. Did snap this photo during the 4th inning though, of them behind Citi.

Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 It seems like someone with a name like Homer Bailey should be surrendering a lot of longballs. Get to work on that Mets.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 The Mets came back from Tampa without a day off and run into a very good Reds team. I am not shocked.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 I was amazed and very happy seeing Turner on deck there before the last out. Having seen him twist his ankle I thought we lost him for much longer. It looked real BAAAAD. Nice to have him back.
