I think it was it Guys! who said last night that the Marlins always play well against the Mets. How about the Mets playing better against the Marlins. What a worthless excuse for a major league franchise. They could be contracted tomorrow and how many people would care? Lets see if that new stadium brings a few more fans. And Chris, please buzz Hanley.

I'd be happy to see Capuano somehow avoid his regular practice of surendering 5 runs in the 6th inning.

Yeah, the Marlins have had plenty of sloppy play ag'in' us. We've had more ag'in' them.

Mets just looking at him and saying, "Hey, bud, let's party!"

Olney sent out a stupid tweet last night claiming that Stanton was now the new Mets killer ......he's been in the league how long?

I might be missing whatever the point is to all the accolades going Capuano's way. He gives up half a run an inning and can't go more than five.

Yup. Part of it is his tendency to work pretty clean until falling apart so suddenly in the 6th. Not always his fault, and not always bailed out by relievers, but yeah. I was never a big fan.

Schwinden, Cap to the bullpen.

6. Angel Pagan (S) CF

Murphy sits against the lefty but turns the spout on the Gatorade container the wrong way spilling Gatorade all over the dugout.

Come on man, Nickeas? bleh.

There's gonna be some interesting debate about Collins this offseason, I can tell.

Maybe Nickeas has hit Mr. Hand in the minors.

I never heard of this 'Hand' guy - time to investigate:

- Brad Hand: 2nd round draft pick (52nd pick overall) in 2008 out of HS in Carver, Minnesota
- 6' 3" 200 lb LHP
- brought up from AA in early June, bounced up and down a few times since, has appeared in six ML games- all starts
- lost his first 3 starts, then won his only ML game on July 8 with a 7 inning/0 run/2-hit/3-walk/4-K performance against Houston
- didn't pitch again until 5 days ago when he left in the 4th against Washington with only 1 run against him but also 3 hits and six walks (ND)
- 1-3; 3.81; 1.29 WHiP; 85 IP; 72 H; 56 K; 38 BB

With or without scoring a run?

Not only does Reyes tie the game with a Ka-Boom, but the Kid Broadcaster Contest winner did a great job of calling the shot :)
