ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Good night ladies. Frustrating.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 16k's tonight for SF pitchers/Mets batters.Way to show up boys. I hope Jason Bay is breastfeeding that fucking infant.

(Who's gotten very lucky the last two nights.) This game is 35 minutes shorter if, say, Bob Melvin or somebody is in the other dugout.Tonight that is a public service.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Fuck. Remember that the Nationals beat them 3 out of 4. And Pelfrey is getting ready for his 4.2 innings of work tomorrow. The CPF was well represented tonight at CF. I feel badly for them.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 This team's shaping up to have one hell of a Pyth record...r because they play like fucking methadone addicts when they're one run down.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Giants fans in attendance even more douchier than last night. I've always percieved that many, in contrast to what happened with the Dodgers, former New York Giants fans (and their issue) stuck with the team even as they played in another city. That combined with the bandwagon effect (plus I'm sure some fans choosing to visit NY from SF) contributed to what seemed like the Mets fans being outnumbered. The 2-6-2 double play was cool, and I was glad to see Capuano have a good outing. Other than that...
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 It wouldn't have been as stark had the Mets given us anything to cheer for. I kinda wonder how many of those "Giants" fans were Mets fans recently who've decided to 'embrace the roots' or something as an excuse to jump on a bandwagon. Some observations without the benefit of replays. It looked like the strike zone was huge and they were calling every flinch a swing. On Ike's single Beltran paused like it was a liner, but it looked like a clear grounder to me that he should've been running on, and surely would've scored. He stepped back to 2B at first. I was kinda hoping for a squeeze with Harris in the 6th. he'd already hit two double play balls and at least at that point in the game Timmy wasn't really fooling anybody, both real hitters in the lineup that inning saw the ball and hit the ball so I think Harris probably could've gotten a bunt down the 1B line..
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 I'm a pretty discerning judge of New York Giants fan pedigree versus San Francisco Giants douchebaggery. I didn't sense much in the way of Ottsmanship at Citi Field this past night.Let Timmy Choke.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2011 Author Posted May 4, 2011 Most of the NY Giants fans are long deceased.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Wilson kinda has a Charlie Sheen thing going, as a unapologetic self-indulgent success that has an unsavory magnetic appeal to unapologetic self-indulgent losers.

As far as closers go, he's FAR from the most Sheen-y. (Even among CURRENT closers.)

If so, then his bunting skills are commensurate with everything else he does.
