Old guy with the brooms itching to make his 2011 debut. Let's not let him down. Who knows how much time he's got left.

A 4-run 3rd inning, capped off by Jason Pridie's 3-run Ka-Boom!, gives the Mets a 6-0 lead on this beautiful day :)

Who is this good team playing the Diamondbacks at Citi Field this weekend and where did the Mets go?

Murph flashin' some leather and arm going into the stretch.

Nice production job by SNY having the crowd mics on louder
than Kevin, Gary, and Ron during the said stretch.

Jeff Wilpon ordered that.

Outstanding!

I heard on the PA that there's a player of the game and they gave it to Wright. He hit 2 HRs but he must have "won" this a million times and how many times will Jason Pridie be a candidate?

Two home runs, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

No offense to Pridie, but Wright really brought it today.

TMF--It would have been nice to throw the kid a bone on a milestone day for him.

I know what you're saying, but I disagree.

The kid had a really sweet home run, no doubt. But Wright was a machine today.

FWIW, if anyone would truly appreciate the honor despite receiving it multiple times, I'm sure that it's Wright.

Either way, it's an award that I didn't know that they bestowed and as long as the Mets win, I'm happy.
