batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 I thought I'd re-post the rules:Today, were looking for the top 35 Mets pitchers with the most career wins. (top 36, technically theres a three way tie for the 34th spot). Please read the scoring rules for this trivia contest because there is a new and dastardly scoring wrinkle. Scoring: Each pitcher ranked one through 29 is worth one point. Pitchers ranked 30 or higher are worth two points. There are no penalties for wrong answers. If you think that Mardie Cornejo belongs in the top 35 (36, technically) feel penalty-free to submit Cornejos name as a guess. Today, it's not wrong to be wrong.Do deduct three points for any post that contains multiple guesses.Deduct three points for any repeat guess any guess thats already been submitted by another forum member. This penalty will be enforced whether the repeat guess is a right or wrong answer. I suppose that this penalty might slow down those contestants who submit guesses in rapid fire torrent. But on the other hand, slowing down might allow another forum member to snipe your intended guess, thus triggering this penalty.Deduct five points for any posts that have been edited. No post editing. Even posts with no guesses will be penalized if they were edited.

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 There's five points left on the board. Chad can clinch the championship by sitting out the rest of the contest to avoid any penalties. (Chad can't lose unless he incurs penalties).
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 I'll post the remaining unsolved answers at noon.
