Do it for [crossout]the playoffs[/crossout] [crossout]your sense of pride[/crossout] [crossout]the sake of defending your home turf[/crossout] [crossout]the fans[/crossout] [crossout]Jerry[/crossout] [crossout]Doc and Darryl[/crossout] [crossout]Davey[/crossout] Frank Cashen?

Okay, yeah, that's it. Do it for Frank Cashen, who'd probably like to see you win ONE on the weekend honoring him before he expires (or at least, to not put on the shitshow you have against these snakes so far).

Sigh.

Yea, that's the way to do it!
Tak Ks him and Thole throws him out!
Nice throw Josh.

The more I watch Thole play, and the more I see how many trade suitors seem to slide his name in there-- "y'know, as a 'throw-in'"-- the more I'm convinced that a lot of "anonymous scouts" are trying to see if they can slip one by Omar.

Agreed #1.
As a matter of fact, I dunno why, but I don't think anyone will deal with Omar unless they are assured of slipping one by him.

Great stat from the booth and Elias

Mark Reynolds entering the game had 699 strike outs in 534 games........ Stan Musial had 696 strike outs in his 22 MLB career , Joe D had 369 in his 13 seasons.

Pretty amazin bit of info.
What they said about how contact can lead to many things, I'm a big advocate of that.
But I'm like that old man yelling at the cloud, lol.

Who wouldn't want a catcher that hits like Rod Carew?

3 more around singles by Enright and Johnson, and Tak's got a career/season-high 9 Ks through 5 IP.

He does get down a good one and then throws the bat down up the line in fair territory after the ball, lol.

July 31st: Jerry put me in for some pop.

Geez , after all Gary and Ron's talk about Parnell doing well in the seventh translating to him being the eight inning guy he's gettting hit hard.

The search continues

Reynolds wears the golden sombrero.

Parnell? He's sitting in the corner, wearing a more conical hat.
