My rapidly failing memory tells me that 1973 was the only Series where the Mets showed much offense. Rusty?

Nope.

BTW, I have to confess that I didn't know this until last week, but saw the answer in one of those "100 Things for Mets Fans" books that I scanned at Borders. It was otherwise unworthy for putchase.
