And while tomorrow is a gay dame, SD needs to be back in SD for a Friday game so may not agree to even a day-time DH if this is washed.
Translation: They're gonna do everything they can to get this in and/or start searching now for an almost certain fruitless discovery of a mutual off-days later in the season when both teams are in the same part of the country.

Not unreasonable to think that they might need to make this one up later in the year, if tonight is a washout.
Good chance at least one of these teams are at least sniffing around the Wild Card come September.

Monday 7/26 seems to be the only time the Padres are even in the vicinity.

Padres are in Pittsburgh the day before. Mets are in LA, possibly for Sunday Night Baseball.

However, the Padres need to be in SD on Tuesday, so I can't imagine them going an extra 400 miles out of their way on their off day to play a makeup.
