I like the idea of the link to the IGT thread. Too bad it won't remain valid once the threads are eventually archived offline. (But the good news is that the link will still be good when it moves to the Recounts Archive subforum.)

So the table can be a little wider, how about # of replies generated (with PotG voting end date serving as same for IGT cutoff). It would be a real-time indicator of how absorbing a given game was (or how many of us failed to go outside for three hours)?

I'd be curious to know what each IGT starter was wearing when starting the IGT, and if that person, upon starting another IGT after a victory, wore the same color scheme or, after a loss, took care to change it.

Clarification request: While desperate times call for all the positive Metiquette we can get (we were 2-2 entering last Saturday, unaware of just how desperate the times would get), is it standard to defer IGT-starting to the previous game's IGT starter if that IGT recorded a win? Makes all the superstitious sense in the world, but I don't recall it being explicit policy in seasons past. Or maybe I just didn't notice.
