G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Given that it's almost Yom Kippur, I'm surprised there's no tallis or tzitzis involved.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 man... i cannot figure out who everyone is in there...
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Dang, Ken is too old to put up with that.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Why's Wright gone now from the first picture?I'm about six clicks from becoming a Royals fan.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Appears to be a moment before or after.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Maybe I don't understand professional jock humor and tradition. How the last three seasons have ended, I really have no patience tosee such nonsense -- with or without Mr. Wright.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Oh, sure, longstanding jock tradition of thinking feminization is the ultimate in degrading humorous insult. I stood with Jeff Kent back when he got hazed. Well, in spirit anyhow. Cut the crap and play responsible ball.http://www.nytimes.com/1992/09/15/sports/baseball-mets-pull-a-little-prank-but-kent-pulls-a-big-fit.html

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Jay thinks, "hey, how did they get to my on-the-road stockings?"

Guest holychicken Guests Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 The season has been pretty miserable for them too, I imagine. Let them have fun with their little tradition; I don't see the harm in it.Really, it seems that you guys are letting your frustration with the season turn this little joke into something much more than it is. With or without this, they would still be eliminated.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Shouldn't Murphy have been hazed last year?

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Shouldn't Murphy have been hazed last year?[/quote:39aljhmj]Some teams do it before September. In '06 the Mets did it after their June trip to Toronto because making the rookies go through customs in those getups makes the whole ordeal even more rigorous.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Hazing needs to be abolished..Who will be the first manager with the balls to not allow it?
