An interesting bit of trivia for that game: Julio Franco played third base. The previous time he had played third base in the majors, his shortstop, Hernandez, hadn't been born.

He actuallly played a couple of innings a week before that to prep for his coming start. Hernandez played that day also, as it was bench-emptying blowout. Yes, it was Hernandez' first ML homer. Of course, it wasn't last game they missed (and neither was last night) as Reyes pinch-hit late in the game, as did Wright last night.
