Got 18 live-- should have gotten 1 more, could have gotten 3 more (the 42s were unkind to me). The heartburn from the Willie Montanez-- a specialty cooked up that night by Two Boots' proprietor involving spicy chorizo and superspicy andouille sausage-- didn't help. (Actually, I think that's me-- or my ear and sideburn, anyway-- in the beige coat behind Sam in the top picture.)

I was over by the bar, right next to the Section 528 guy (at the end of the bar, YELPING excitedly at every Ollie strikeout/Nyjer Morgan Met robbery). Funny side note: I've been to two events now at which Paul Lukas was reading, during which the Mets were playing a home game; on both occasions, the Mets have worn black, along with the bruise caps.
