metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 You can tune in here from work, it's a bit behind but not much. I tested this the last day game and I estimated the feed was about 15 - 20 seconds behind , or about the time it takes Wayne Hagin to catch up with events as they happen. Sorry Wayne, taking the piss is allhttp://www.freebaseballradio.com/NYmetsJune.html
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Working from home today, so I'll be able to watch on television. If it's a compelling game, my work may suffer.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 So does that mean that Tommy Newsom will be reporting from the sidelines?

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 A Spring Training pbp man for a lineup that has a long ST day trip look to it.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 My impressions of Burkhardt is that he's been quite good at doing the play-by-play in Spring Training and that I expect SNY to lose him sooner or later for a better job.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Mets already down 1-0 as Cora leads off the first. The RBI single looks like it could have been caught, but Fernando in center decided to play it on a hop.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Catcher's interference? Really?Unearned runs make me a saaaaaad panda.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Is it me, or are opposing pitchers getting on base at, like, a .600 clip off Johan this year?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 12 hitters in 2 innings of work? Johan is more Livan than Livan today.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I didn't mean the Chris Carpenter Strikeout Club.
Diamond Dad Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Gets Pujols with bases loaded. Big out.Scarlet at the game today, so I'll have to pinch hit for her from the office - but only for next hour until 3:00 meeting.DD

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 And does Santana look right? Gameday tells me he just walked the pitcher.

Diamond Dad Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Let's see if Carpenter stays this sharp second time through the order . . . but if he does . . .
