Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I'll leave it to the Elias people to figure out what the closest to victory but then losing situation ever was but I can't imagine that this wasn't in the top 5 in Mets history.I also don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this was the worst non-playoff/playoff-determinative loss I've ever had the unfortunate nature of attending.New MFY park is actually pretty nice if not for all the pop-fly homers. It's like they kept it mostly the same but fixed a lot of what sucked about the old place, while also adding a million suites or luxury seats. Not in my top 5 parks but not bad either.
