Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 1st and 2nd... I wonder what Jerry's planning.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Z: I still can't believe Beltran did not catch that ball at the wall <<<Ya gotta believe!(a moan befalls the IGT)
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Do we still do rally caps?
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Runners on first and second with no outs to open the 7th. The have to take the lead NOW!!!
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Don't know much about interference, but it seemed to me that Tatis had no option but to run in the place he did if he wanted to get to first.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 A lot of stuff riding on this Santos AB.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I hate the sac bunt. Nowe it falls to Santos with base full and and one out as the Phillies predictably walk Church.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 A lot of stuff riding on this Murphy AB.

As long as neither party is going out of their way to impede the other, there's no interference call.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Murphy steps up with bases loaded and two out, but here comes the lefty Eyre. I smell a ringing double into the gap. Or maybe the cat box. Hard to tell.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 That was one wacky play.Tatis bunts and it looked like interference with the catcher, and was, but that call could have gone worse for us.Good call by Marsh, I think, cause looked like Tatis did have the right to try and run thru that.

Now Jerry's got us pinned to the mat again, with Muffy needing a big hit vs. the kinda pitcher Jerry doesn't even trust Muffy enough to strt against.Had he played all these possibilities out beforehand he Shirley coulda come up with scenario. Not to let Santos off the hook for biffing bigtime there.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 (edited) Jeez.Jerry can suck the momentum out of a rally like nobody's biz. Edited June 10, 2009 by Guest
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Murph can't hold up against ol' Alpaca Face, and it's still tied.
