Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Monday in Cincinnati, Ohio:="National Weather Service"]Monday...Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers. Highs in the upper 40s.Monday Night...Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain showers in the evening. Lows in the lower 30s. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 The cold front that will move in will give rain showers of the "scattered" nature rather than the "massive storm that would cancel the game" nature.Still not looking particularly nice though.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 i'm kinda grumpy that friday's exhibition against the sox is going to be rain-soaked.i don't like booing the mets, but i'll gladly boo the weather.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Opening day Monday on Chicago's south side already called off.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I am still trying to decide if I want to take a 1/2 day and come home to watch, or just follow the game on GameTracker or something. If there's not too much happening at work, and if the forecast makes it look like they'll definitely get the game in, I am likely to come home and watch. Between a trip to Maryland for Passover and a trip to Texas for work I am going to miss much of the first two weeks of games.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2009 Author Posted April 6, 2009 Looks like the makings of a miserable day in Cincinnati.="National Weather Service":hfb5us99]Today: Rain and snow showers likely, mainly after 11am. I am still trying to decide if I want to split early to go home and watch the game...Benjamin Grimm Apr 06 2009 08:04 AMHard to say. My hunch, as worthless as it is, is that they will play, since tomorrow's forecast also looks pretty miserable.Maybe the game will have a delayed start.HahnSolo Apr 06 2009 08:20 AMAgree they will try to give it a go.
