Mazzilli's head rolls, again

Daily News reporting today that Lee Mazzilli has been dropped from the SNY studio show.

Looks like Bobby Ojeda is most likely to replace him.

No word yet on whether Darryl will return, or even if he wants to.

Tough break for Maz. In all fairness I never felt he was particularly polished or effective in his delivery. I do like that they continue culling names from Mets lore for these jobs though.

On the bright side, at least once his head does roll, the hot sauce in his hair will allow it to slide naturally down an escalator and out into Manhattan.

I think Maz probably took too many smoke breaks , I swear I saw him one night in the street smoking where the yobs gather to wave at the cameras .

I think they caught him sneaking home with some office supplies. Those "jumbo clips" are really good for sealing shut bags of potato chips.

When I started watching, I thought Matt Yallof might have been the dumbest guy on earth. But over the years, he's grown on me. He's still dumb, but I get the feeling he is a die-hard fan. Making him likeable dumb. Plus he reminds me of my friend Jacob.
