Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I don't suspect that this will be too hard, but I'll post it anyway.Carlos Delgado the other day became just the seventh Met to hit 30 or more home runs in multiple seasons.Of the other six, one guy did it four times, three guys did it thrice, and two have done it twice.Name those Mets.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 Not Chris Jones. Not David Wright.Piazza did it four times.Kingman, Hojo, and Strawberry did it three times each.Beltran did it twice. One player still missing, one of the guys who reached 30 twice.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 It's Hundley. The Mets who only reached 30 one time are Frank Thomas, Gary Carter, Bobby Bonilla, Bernard Gilkey, Robin Ventura, Cliff Floyd, Mike Cameron, and David Wright.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2008 Author Posted September 22, 2008 David Wright recently became the eighth Met to homer 30 or more times in more than one season.
