For all of Gary's talk about how hot Beltran is from the right side, that was one horrendous AB.

I believe in coyotes and time as an abstract
Explain the change, the difference between
What you want and what you need, there's the key,
Your adventure for today: What do you do
Between the horns of the day?

Am I still awake?

Romero threw the same pitch over and over, horrible.

I think this has less to do with bullpen management, so much as bullpen performance.

Yes, we entered the 8th and 9th with the ability to match up the way we wanted to. They got their assignments and didn't get it done.

Gotta figure Al Reyes is in uniform tomorrow.

Could be. But we'll be out of pitchers in the 12th and they only gave up 2 in their first four innings. Ayala's run was fairly cheap. Try to save the long man at least. Pedro only going five doesn't help.

We're letting their bullpen get through innings on like 15 pitches.

Tom McCarthy doesn't know where he is, just said 3 times that Aaron Heilman has had a history of troubles "here at Shea Stadium."

I'm more scared of Werth than Howard right now.

Yeah, I agree with you (and Ronnie).
Normally I hate to put a winning run on but they can't PR for him and it'll take several hits to score him.

He might be broadcasting from the tennis center.
