Come on, the joke here was:

Tatis 1
Tattoos 0

Herve Villechaize didn't even get on the list. Poor little dead bastard.

too much for a May win.

Add "for a sub .500, fourth place team" to that.

Though I think a lot of the attention will be on some guy returning to New York.

Tatis winning AB checklist, as told to Kevin Burkhart:
a) shorten my swing
B) be agressive
c) make your approach
d) get a good pitch to hit
e) see the ball.

That's all there is to it!

Dear Omar,

Tatis was in AAA last year. Why didn't you call him up when the rosters expanded? It looks like he might have helped!

Sincerely,

Mets Fans

Straw with the plaid suit. Is it me or is he doing a good job as a studio guy? This is the first time I've seen him.

Same here. I think he's better than Maz, that's for sure.

Nah. I think they'll be glad the Mets are getting fired up and showing heart and guts.

Good call. One big AB could've made a huge difference in many games. Though to me it was more about the bullpen sucktitude.

Yeah, I blew that one.

I think Miller's one of those guys they make wear long sleeves the whole year because of how many designs he's got on his arms.

Please report to the Zephyrs forum until you can get that joke nailed ten times out of ten. http://www.nola.com/forums/zephyrs/

Sorry, we can't afford to have you learning at the big league level.

I thought FK was out of options at this point?

I could see putting FK on the DL, and giving him some rehab assignments. You know, an IGT start down there, couple of meaningful posts in rather pedestrian threads, etc.

We called up the patriotic saintal, who recently posted:

The Mr's Maestri & Schline have missed the boat on Memorial day. There could have been a fly over, yes there could have, and veterans and men in uniform could have been allowed in FREE. Why not?? It isn't like we didn't have room. The attendence was listed as 2048 and even if that was true there were almost 8000 seats plus the levy unoccupied. Also missing was the Navy or Marine Corps band. In other words the Zephyrs brass did not give the fans a reason to be there. No Mr. Maestri, the game itself is not a reason. Not anymore. Maybe we can do something for the 3rd of July since we will not be home on the 4th. I know we have fireworks scheduled but is that enough?? Cmon brass, we diehards will be there but give the others a reason. Maybe even a lottery with the winner getting a season ticket for the rest of the season. Even if it's just a fireworks package. Something, anything. Please!!!!

Love this quote from Endy.

]

"It's a great start for us. I think the ambience over here is changing, It's more positive. We just have to work hard and show it on the field."
