Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Section 8 Upper Reserved is where my Saturday seats are. Perfect!
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 We're in upper box, 38. More interested in the tailgate and pre-game festivities. The game is just incidental.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Somewhere in Loge 4 apparently.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Might this be the biggest CPF gathering ever? Certainly the largest since I've been around.

Guest holychicken Guests Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I got unexpectedly called into work on Sunday morning and, of course, stupid ConEd wasn't ready even though they insisted we come ASAP. Sat around for four hours. Stupid ConEd.But anyway. . .I didn't buy any tickets for the game because when I got back from work I was frustrated and didn't think about it and was wondering if I was in on that block of 10. . . or if I should just go buy my own?
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I can't make Spring Training, but I will try and make the May 31 game.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Sorry holyc, the tickets are spoken for.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 OK, as far as I know, I'm in for both Sunday and the 5/31 game. Should I just buy a single cheap-o ticket and join yas for that date?
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Did someone buy me a ticket?I ask because I didn't expect that. Great if you did, no problem. I was planning on using my own and just tailgatin' with everyone, but that's cool.If a ticket was bought for me and someone else wants it that's cool too because I can use my own.Lemme know.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 See you Sunday! May 31st is still on the fence.
DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Someone take pics and report for us out-of-towners.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I'm sorry for the confusion about the May 31st tickets, I only got them for a couple of us who discussed it off-board. Once that group got to about tenI didn't want it to turn into a project. Everyone get tickets wherever and plan on tail-gaiting too since it's a fouro'clocker. I figure we'll hang over by the water in that section facing La-Guardia but we have plenty of time for logistics and pot luck discussions.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 A lot of pot luck goes on near that water. Unless you're Mark Corey, then it's not-so-luck. Depending on the NY water taxi schedule from Manhattan, we may try to join up after a booze cruise.

Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Oh wait a minute, the Spring Training game meeting is in New York? For some reason I thought it was actually in Florida. I actually can make it then, as I'm home for spring break. I'll let you guys know if I can make it. Put me down for a maybe then.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 I'm in for the 5/31st game and i'm still "iffy" for lunch on the 16th. I'm going to try and make it. I might have to bring my kids again (against my better judgment).
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 I am a definite for the 5/31 game at Shea unless something unexpected comes up. Hopefully, my son will be accompanying me.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Have you met that kid? I mean, man...
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 If Vic is bringing his kids on Sunday then we'll bring MiniKnight along.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 No offense to any of you fine people but Mrs. Shot and Junior Shot have opted out of the lunch and game, but I'll be present for both.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Junior Shotbucket has way too much autonomy.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I bucked up for Junior Ted's ticket and now I find out her boyfriend, Junior Shot, is blowing off the game? Surely an appearance at the tailgate is in order, at the least!
