Guest AG/DC Guests Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Are you kidding? She'd dig it more than I would. I have to twist her arm to get a priest perform the ceremony rather than Mr. Met.The problem is that I will probably get wed down here in DC, and rather than sending me a Certified Mr. Met PerformerTM, they'd probably just ship a costume down and outsource the job to some clueless DC actor --- probably my office-mate Michael. The less said about him, the better.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 They don't just ship the costume. You need to arrange for Mr. Met to come, along with the Pepsi Party patrol. And he isn't available when the Mets have a home game.I'm going to be awaiting the announcement of the 2009 schedule with anticipation - if the team is out of town on the day of my little guy's Bar Mitzvah, we want to arrange for Mr. Met to come to his reception. I guess I'll specify that we want Mr. Met with the black jersey
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 We are so going to crash that Bar Mitzvah.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 What made you think you wouldn't be invited?
