Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Author Posted November 7, 2007 Hahn Solo and Transmonk totally own this game.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Hahn's got it. I had to get creative to make it fit, as we haven't had anyone with a Lincoln in their name yet, so I had to go with Ramon Abraham Castro. But yes, they fit all the circulating denominations of U.S. dollar bills (believe it or not, they still make $2 bills). Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Hamilton, Jackson, Grant, Franklin.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 The feller on the rightIncidentally, that's apparently Keith's Mrs. above. Wifey Watch Alert!
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 (edited) No guesses at this one? The Reyes photo may provide a hint.[Edited] Edited November 7, 2007 by Guest
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 they all led the club in runs?lets try to do 1 at a time hahn, this could get chaotic otherwise
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Agreed. I'll save that for later. Not the answer I'm looking for. As I said, the best clue probably can be found in the Reyes photo.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Since Carter and Mex are NOT stolen base artists, I'm going with led the Mets in Total Bases?
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 they all got dirty alot?they all foolishly slide hands-first?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Don Hahn never led the club in any offensive categories.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I'd also say they played every inning of a World Series, but that leaves out Reyes. The only way Carter and Mex could steal a postseason base would be on a double steal...
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 I suspect it has something to do with triples. They all hit postseason triples for the Mets?
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 The big orange guy got it. All hit postseason triples as a Met

They're alphabetized not by name, but by the thing that qualifies them for this list. Not pictured, but could have been:Marlon Anderson, Terrence Long, Craig Brazell, Sammy Drake, Larry Bowa, Leon Brown, Danny Boitano, Doug Henry, Fernando Vina, Ron Herbel, Greg Harts, Rick Waits, Tony Phillips, Moises Alou, Sid Fernandez, Gary Thurman, Tim Bogar, Larry Miller, Mike DeJean, Kenny Greer, Chad Bradford, Dan Wheeler, Jerry Martin, Pete Schourek. The not pictured list is also in alphabetical order.Good luck! I think this is probably unreasonably difficult, but knowing this group, somebody will probably get it within five minutes.

Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Um... it's my turn, Gwreck.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Apparently I missed the rules here somewhere. Feel free to ignore mine.

Feel free to ignore mine.when you get the previous one right its your turn. i've had one sitting around for days because i'm never going to answer one correctly. sadly i would have gotten yancy's if i'd seen it first since it is easily determined from the limited biographical data on baseball reference and thats my first stop
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 They're all sons of major league ballplayers. So now I am no longer out of turn.
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Correct. Now it is your turn.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Correct. I coulda sworn there were some others but those were the only 4 Mets I could think of.
