Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 But Vic Sage hates pennant races.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 The basement race between me and SJR will go down to the wire with the loser buying the league winner the trophy.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I feel like the Mets; I've been in front most of the way, but the lead really feels tenuous. Those three teams just one point behind me in BA are making me very nervous. Then again, I'm amazed that I'm where I am given that none of the trades I made at the beginning of the year have really helped me at all. (Bedard, Youkilis and Drew for Konerko and Bush? I didn't really do that, did I?)
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 thats right... i forgot where i had gotten bedard... thanks!
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 geez... this thing is going down to the wire.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2007 Author Posted September 21, 2007 this is nothing, in my league for $$ the top 4 teams are each between 77 and 74 points right now and 1st place changes daily.
