Call it Simpsonized II

1) Find your name on the list, made up of recent and frequent posters. If you can't find your name, and want ot participate, my apologies. Please let me know below or e-mail me at edgydc////@////yahoo.com. If you don't a gentle no thanks below or sent to the same address is welcome. Find your assigned Met --- he may be Jose Reyes or he may be Tom Nieto --- next to your name and embrace him to your heart. Right to your little bosom.

2) Find a picture of your Met on the internet. It needs to be a big one, at least 640 X 480, color, and a portrait, not a full-body shot.

3) Right click it and download a copy to your hard drive.

4) Visit http://simpsonizeme.com

5) Follow their instrucitons in turning your Met into a citizen of Springfield, USA.

6) Do an amazin' job.

7) Look under Export in the righthand column, and save the picture as a gif on your hard drive.

8) Optional: If you are capable and inspired, touch it up with your desktop art applications, just to add a mole or something. But try not to break out of the style of the original. And just be careful and save a copy of your un-touched-up version, in case you putz it up.

9) E-mail me a copy of your brilliant work at edgydc////@////yahoo.com.

10) Thrill with the forum as we assemble a virtual roster.

It's amazing how, when searching for a "large" image of Billy Wagner, I also get Matt LeBlanc, Sammy Davis Jr. and Opus the penguin.

I think you use yellow for Caucausians and the other appropriate skin tones for players of African, Latin American, and Asian background.

In Simpsonia, the yellow man is white and the white man is yellow, and that's fine by me.

No the cap doesn't appear in the Simpsonized version.
