Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 (edited) Pedro pitches in St. Lucie vs. Brevard County tonight at 7 p.m. at Tradition Field. He is expected to throw about 45 pitches and says that he "would not hold back."Hold not back, Pedro. Edited August 1, 2007 by Guest
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 SNY will show it live.I remember cursing ESPN for showing Clemens minor league starts....oh well.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Cool. With luck, we'll get a D-Teamer booth team like Ephraim Albert and Kelvin Chapman.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Yeah, but that's ESPN. You'd hope they'd have more important stories to cover than Fatass pitching to 18-year-olds. I'd like our flagship station to show this start; could be interesting to watch, and give most of us our first look at our own young guys.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Where's our PSL correspondent? Get him on the horn. We need real time updates and photos.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I welcome the thought of having Pedro's start being pipe-lined into my living room, I just hope his path to return doesn't become a three ringMetstercluckerfocker of a circus.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I agree with seawolf. I also thought it ridiculous to have ESPN televise Clemens' minor league start, but it would have made perfect sense for YES to show it.And it makes sense for SNY to show Pedro's start.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Rained Out.Pedro will, instead, pitch a simulated game tomorrow morning.(and I will simulate excitement about it)

Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 How can a game be rained out two hours before starting in Florida? Thefreakin' weather there, especially in the summer, changes more time thanWillie makes a bad decision in a ball game.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I checked to make sure they weren't BS'ing...http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USFL0419?from=search_cityRain tonight.
