Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Angel Hernandez is a tremendous bag of shit-caked ass. Just sayin'.Nice crowd shots at Turner. Wonder if the attendees could fill a minor league park.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Willie did us no favors by providing the opposition with the first out.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Oh my..Davies with a three run bomb.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Quiet 'round these parts. 8-1 bad guys after pitcher Kyle Davies takes Aaron Sele deeeeeeep to center.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 3 run shotfor the opposing pitcher? fuck.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 And Kelly Johnson follows with a triple just outside Delgado's reach.Ugly.
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Jeez, two nights of road-block pitching or two nights of this team ain't got no O?
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 We've really played like complete butt for a week now. I mean, there's been plenty of positive results and I'm not complaining about that, but it woulda been very easy for this team to lose 3 of 4 to the Cubs rather than take 3 of 4 and to lose 2 of 3 to the Yanks. I kinda believe Pettitte when he said he anticipated an Endy bunt or we'd have lost Friday. The MFYs gave us everything we took in game 2, but they broke out of a slump while we played exactly the way you doin;t want a team with a big lead to play. Finally they shut us down again behind a kid and Kyle Davies happens to have his best game of the year.end bitchy complaint
Guest Kid Carsey Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 I typed the part about the second bad half of Saturday, and then left it out.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 And it's kinda pointless making the offense/pitching argument.Offense, defense, pitching, and Willie all need to look in some mirrors.I think Fordham has been a bad thing.I actually didn't watch tonight until the ninth. Tonight may have been differmints, but I'm not liking Jose Reyes' approach at the plate these days.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Fordam? For the graduates you mean?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Well, Fordham gave us Pete Harnisch, so...No, just retrofitting an artificial turning point (Randolph addresses Fordham) for no good reason. I guess you (read "you" as "I") get to a point where any exposure seems like overexposure. I waited on line at my curbside burrito vendor today and picked up the Men's Health with David Wright on the cover. (My burrito guy has a magazine rack.) Dudley Do-Wright put me off my lunch.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Fordham gave you me, too.Minus the depression.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Giving away my age here, class of 89.I think I was a year behind Pete. He was drafted as a junior in '87.
