Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I don't think most Yankee fans care either.

The only Yankee game I've attended in recent years was last summer (got seats near the seats where Jeter's parents sit except they weren't there that night). I got the full-chain treatment when I tried to duck out during that over-the-top rendition of that lousy song. Couldn't believe it. Can't believe it still.

Enforced patriotism is ridiculous.

That's not the kind of stuff that should be happening in America, but this certainly isn't the only example of it.

Why, for example, are school children forced to stand up to pledge allegiance to the country's flag?
