Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Can't stand to hear Ronan Tynan mangle "God Bless America?" Too bad, cuz you're locked in with chains!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 WOW,even by Steinbrenner standards that seems excessive ,I fucking despise Ronan Tyan,I wonder if he payed for his WS rings.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Only Steinbrenner would think to respect freedom by chaining people in and telling them what to do.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Steinbrenner is such a wanker.

Guest Mark Healey Guests Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I don't think most Yankee fans care either.]The organization said it would consider legal action only if a fan were arrested for disobeying the measure.Ok, which one of you gets arrested first? :-)
Guest sharpie Guests Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 The only Yankee game I've attended in recent years was last summer (got seats near the seats where Jeter's parents sit except they weren't there that night). I got the full-chain treatment when I tried to duck out during that over-the-top rendition of that lousy song. Couldn't believe it. Can't believe it still.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Enforced patriotism is ridiculous. That's not the kind of stuff that should be happening in America, but this certainly isn't the only example of it.Why, for example, are school children forced to stand up to pledge allegiance to the country's flag?
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Because if they don't, the communists win.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 ]Serves you right, you whore.Tix were free, season passes from a law firm I was doing business with. It was the game where A-Rod made three errors and was pulled in the 8th inning.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Just busting your terrorist-loving chops.
