Still no Floyd. Like to see him come back soon.

They said on the tv pre-game that Floyd may go on the 15 day DL retro to
whatever it was 6-7 days ago and give him another week plus off to get him
back to near 100%.

If they put Cliff on the DL and retro him, I think they should really wait until the 12 or 13th day so we can be shorthanded for as long as possible.

For the life of me I can't remember the last time a team had so many "To DL or not to DL" issues before.

Reyes says - speed kills with a lead off bunt hit.

Reyes says: that's right Mother F_____, I said speed kills, and steals 2nd on the pitch out.

Lo Duca confirms Jose's statements about speed by bringing him home with a basehit. Beltran lines to 2nd. 1 down.

lol--yep.
Speed kills.

Ya know, Reyes isnt doing that bad in the hit dept., with 66 hits. And he's almost up to 30 walks, which is nice.
Has 27 stolen bases to lead the majors.

Lots of at bats, of course, cuz he leads off-
but could you imagine if he could get his batting average up to .280-.290?

.272 coming into todays action is a steady improvement since April.

Rollins shows that power currupts with a lead off homer against Glavine.
Even up already!

Rollins weighs what? 175 soaking wet? And yet he reached with one hand for an outside [u:e1b408f310]changeup[/u:e1b408f310] and pulled it over the fence.

Something is going on in this sport.

I personally consider this series the most important of the season at this point.

Mets could really break away from the pack for good here.

1-1, after 1.

I suspect he's on SHLOBH.

(super human lead off batter hormone)

I thought we banned the "Institute", or did we just ban it's leader?

Shit-
Tommy was pitchin Rowand well--in and out-
then Aaron gets a hold a one for another longball.

Phils up by a run.

well, when Fasano makes you throw over 10 pitches in an at bat, your in trouble.
And Glavines up to 12 with a 3-2 count.

Walk on 13. One ball was a few feet foul from being a home run. That means something is wrong with Glavine. Fasano is one of the worst hitters in the league.

Walks Fasano-

Madsons gonna try and bunt over-- and Glavine takes it and forces fasano at 2nd.
Nice.

Hope we get 6 out of Glavine.
He still could settle down but up to 40 pitches already------not good.

Reyes with the lead off double!
Burrell is fun to watch as he attempts to play leftfield.

LoDuke moves him over to third.

Beltran thinks we're still in Arizona.
Beltran is mad that he has slipped in the All-star voting.
