Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted October 7, 2006 Posted October 7, 2006 Bump!First off Sarah Traschel: Doesn't like cameras, thinks less of writers. From today's Daily News: Me-ow!]Like her husband, Trachsel's wife, Sarah, had no interest in discussing her marriage, telling the Daily News by phone from Malibu, Calif.: "That's none of your business."She said she was "absolutely not" filing for divorce, adding: "Don't call here again."Second, we have to insert Mrs. Green into the 25-Wife Playoff roster

Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 From The Daily News="Teri Thompson"]Trachsel's wife files for divorce When Steve Trachsel left the Mets on the eve of the playoffs, he said it was for personal reasons that had nothing to do with his marriage. On Thursday, however, his wife, Sarah Trachsel, filed for divorce in San Diego. The Daily News reported that Trachsel had left the team on Oct.1 to deal with marital issues, which both Trachsel and his wife denied.Reached at her home in Malibu, Calif., Sarah Trachsel said then that she was "absolutely not" filing for divorce.Sarah Trachsel had placed a clubhouse call to her husband during the last weekend of the season, which caused him to abruptly go to Arizona and California to deal with the problem. That caused a 12-day gap between starts and when Traschel returned, he gave up six hits in 3-1/3 innings in Game 3 of the division series in Los Angeles, the first playoff start of his career. In the NLCS against the Cardinals, Traschel basically lost the clubhouse when he came out of a game in the second inning after being hit in the leg with a comebacker.Trachsel, a free agent, is not expected to be re-signed by the Mets.
