It looks like Sean Manaea will piggyback with Adam Warren tonight

Newly promoted big time prospect Colt Emerson 3B/SS can hit, hopefully not tonight

If the Mets can beat Seattle on the road with an opener tonight I would be very impressed

There is a particularly virulent Mariner's fan on another baseball board who has been insulting the Mets and their fans for years. Nothing would make me feel better than the Mets keeping Ashie's IGT streak going.

LGM!! indeed.

All available lefthanded bats being deployed.

Well, all save for the switch-hitting Vidal Bruján.

On paper this looks like a very difficult matchup and maybe it is. If the Mets are going to get to a wild card or better the will have to win the majority of these types of games

Now score runs and win

Hancock looks like the goodz.

But hey, a 5-4-3 DP by the Mets retires the very odd Rob Refsnyder.

A model of contemporary baseball happening here.  Each team has cycled through six innings and not a single player has reached on a ball in play.

Only one walk between the two teams also.

And yet, somehow, we get Hancock out of the game, and Seattle replaces him with an Oscar-winner.

Just now, Edgy MD said:

Mets trying to ride the Raley-Weaver-Williams Train home.

And that derails pretty quickly.
