Get that stuff cleaned out, get some rest and come join the Mets in the offseason.

The interesting thing is that he is referencing and linking to an ESPN story.  It was ESPN that began Schilling's latter-day career as a self-styled free speech martyr when they fired him.

It used to be that you could have a legitimate argument if someone got hurt at WBC.  Like would that player have gotten hurt had he been in spring training.

but by schilling’s logic, you can blame the WBC for injuries even if they don’t happen at the WBC  

how far does that extend?  Can we blame America for Wright getting hurt?

Oh that logic has been going on since the WBC was first concocted. Some guy would get injured in August and it would be accompanied by a statement that 'the WBC claims another victim'. Making connections is easy when you come up with the cause and effect ahead of time.
