Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted March 25 Posted March 25 If you got em. List them here. Mine. *Christian Scott is going to be our #3 starter by the end of the season. *At least 6 Mets will hit 20 HR or more. *Brooks Raley is not going to be good. Either hurt or struggle. *Fans will complain about Devin Williams intro music.

I’ll care less if he saves 50 games with an ERA+ of 250. Mine: -Mendoza does not get an extension until after the postseason ends. Media will talk about this incessantly even though it’s abundantly clear (as in 2015) that a playoff run will be necessary for the manager to keep his job. -Senga finishes in the top 10 of Cy Young balloting. -Mets win the season series against the Dodgers but go inexplicably go 1-5 against the White Sox and Sacramento. -Pete Alonso gets a curtain call in each of the 3 games Baltimore plays in September at Citi.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Nick Morabito will play at least 5 games in center field for the Mets this year. Later
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Luis Robert will either be a defensive replacement/pinch runner, or released, by August 15. Sean Manaea gets 15 starts. Juan Soto hits 45 homers. Dylan Ross gets 10 saves.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Luke Weaver is the closer by June. Sean Manaea will be diagnosed early with arm problems that keep him out for the rest of the year. Bo Bichette falls victim to 'First Year Met' syndrome and has a lackluster season. It'll be blamed on his position shift. Lindor gets off to a slow start like he always does, but turns it on as the weather warms and his hand heals, putting up his usual numbers in the end.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Freddy Peralta will pitch to the 3.60 ERA that his career numbers, and peripherals from last year, say that he will. Much press space and air time will be devoted to speculating on what's wrong with him. Benge will have ups and downs but will be solid down the stretch. Devin Williams will be fine. But the Mets will still need Clay Holmes to bail out their bullpen. Soto will make last year look like Beltran's 2005. Jonah Tong will be the key to their season.
