The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I voted #5 and that was before KC's suggestion of the Unisphere in place of the baseball, which I really like.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 The Unisphere is also a registered trademark so forget about using it.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 The Unisphere is also a registered trademark so forget about using it. Okay. Back to the baseball.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 The Unisphere is also a registered trademark so forget about using it. That's kinda what I figured, which is why I didn't use it. But TBH, I also didn't check.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I'm not sassing you, I'm sassing the fella above me, you're just caught in-between. Sorry for victimizing you, but it was worth it. No, you called me out by name. Incorrectly so, I might add. It''s either KC or kcmets and not KCMets. Branding lol...Sorry for capitalizing your name slightly incorrectly, That never happens On the internet.Anyway, the one with the pizzazz is still the best choice.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted March 7 Posted March 7 The Unisphere is also a registered trademark so forget about using it. The Unisphere is what they called me when I had an undescended testicle.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 Looks like people are pretty clearly in favor of two logos, both of which go together as complementary logos. In site usage, we need two logos: the standard "full" logo, and also an icon logo.Padres Mission:
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 8 Posted March 8 No offense, but it's hard to look good when your colors are brown and mustard. I'm glad we have [MetsBlue]blue[/MetsBlue] and [MetsOrange]orange[/MetsOrange] to work with.

I'm glad we have [MetsBlue]blue[/MetsBlue] and [MetsOrange]orange[/MetsOrange] to work with. I lived in San Diego for close to a decade. I was SO HAPPY when they brought back the brown and yellow. So much better than that other crap they tried for 35 years or however long it was.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I agree. I'm not a Padres fan, but it's good for everyone when the Pads look like the Pads.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 9 Posted March 9 While those colors aren’t objectively good, they work so well together is a padres baseball context.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 9 Posted March 9 I went #2. I don't (and have never) lived in NY, and that's the sign I would blindly and confidently follow to get to Mets stuff.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted March 9 Posted March 9 The Unisphere is also a registered trademark so forget about using it. That's kinda what I figured, which is why I didn't use it. But TBH, I also didn't check. I'm sure some kind of mocked up unisphere similar to the mocked up baseball isn't going to land anyone here in Foley Square facing trademark infringement charges.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted March 9 Posted March 9 A unisphere with baseball stitches would look pretty sweet, conceptually
