Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Happened to catch both McLean's start Tuesday and Sproat's yesterday here in Syracuse. Sproat fell flat a bit in the 6th but he cruised through the first five. McLean was lights out the other day.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 It’s great that McLean and Sproat are friends. I mean it doesn’t mean anything as far as wins/losses, but kinda cool. Like Baty/Vientos/Alvarez. Really hoping that these guys work out. The only pitching prospect that has stuck in the last decade is Tylor Megill.
roger_that Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Peterson wasn't a prospect? Or he didn't work out?
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Peterson! That’s right. Peterson and to a far lesser extent Megill.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 8, 2025 Posted August 8, 2025 Robert Gsellman is killing it with The Lake Country DockHounds of The American Association.Meanwhile, the team keeps their powder dry on Drew Smith 2025.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Meanwhile, the team keeps their powder dry on Drew Smith 2025. Isn’t he still recovering from TJ surgery?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Indeed, they are keeping their powder dry by necessity. But hey, he is a prospect that is working out.He is currently working out in St. Lucie.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2025 Posted August 10, 2025 Any word on my oft injured Calvin Ziegler and Matt Allen?Later
