Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 27 Posted August 27 7:10 start - no get-away day game to cap this one off (Brewers are home to TEX on Friday). Got thumped last night but at least we don't have to face a tough pitcher today: Jacob Misiorowsi vs Sean Manaea Personally I think the 6' 7" right-hander 'Les Mis' has just been getting lucky and that his league leading ERA [1.68], ERA+ [247], WHIP [0.759], H/9 [4.8], and K/BB Ratio [13.4] are all due for a course correction soon, quite possibly starting tonight.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I never liked that show. later whippoorwill 1

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I suspect that Bichette is unlikely for this game.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I've never seen Misiorowski pitch, so I'm looking forward to this one.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Playing "Wild Thing" and "Born to Be Wild" sound cues continues to be totally minor league.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 27 Author Posted August 27 90% of what goes on from most ML ballparks strikes me as totally minor league. Not quite at WWE level yet but they're on that road. Edgy MD 1
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Wasting challenges isn't going to be the trick in solving this guy.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I feel like these last two games show the ridiculous gap between Stearns old team and his current one. MFS62 1
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28 Posted August 28 They're going to look at this for a half hour and then overturn it.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28 Posted August 28 It stands!! Welcome to the Mets, Christopher Morel!!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 28 Author Posted August 28 Call stands ... which is good because if they told us (by reversing) that there was 'definitive evidence' showing he was out they might as well junk the entire system. But, remember, it's only going to overturn obvious calls AND it's going to be quick!!!!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Alvarez has got to get closer to the plateplateplate.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28 Posted August 28 Two on in the seventh, and Mizzy out of the game!
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted August 28 Posted August 28 We getting a look at what this lineup looks like without Bo.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I hope you all brought your Jackson Chourio records, because tonight is Chourio Demolition Night.
