does the all lowercase lettering in the subject heading mean that both lineups today will be featuring a bunch of thirty somethings?

'Sorry Carson and A.J. we've got to sit you tonight, it's in the rules.'

Nope. It means I posted it in a hurry on my cellphone so none of the newbies would start an IGT (not knowing the tradition).

I'll fix it.

Luis Robert, Jr. is getting a day at the DH spot, with Brett Baty in left, so if the Mets have a lead in the sixth inning or later, this may be one of those once-a-week days we get to see some hot, sexy Christian Pache action.

Robert Jr has been red hot. But arguably not as hot as Pete Alonso who went 4-4 last night bringing him to .276 31 84 .876 for the season

So yes, I hope the Mets win. The also lowly Royals have now won eight in a row so why can't the Mets?

The Mets have not been eliminated

I haven't really watched the Knicks for more than a generation, but on the chance I stumbled upon them, I've enjoyed Breen, to some part because I found John Andariese and Marv Albert before him to be obnoxious presences.

He and Frazier are a classy team.

Alvarez going to right-center is a touch of consolation.

I'm so alone again.  Is everybody else in a different thread talking about me?

Marv Albert was one of the earliest announcements on my hidden bedtime transistor radio. Dick Wiess before him

Meh. Win the series tomorrow.

Anyway. dedniel looked better. Despite some hard contact.

My girlfriend fell asleep early last night, so I decided to peek in on the Mets for the first time since July 5. I had enough time to see Chayce McDermott on the mound, and the little bug in the upper left said the Mets were down 7-1, and I turned off the TV and picked up a book instead.

So much for that.
