Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If you had told me ten years ago that Martin Perez was gonna forge a 15-year career in the majors -- as a regular, even -- I woulda said you're a dang fool. But here we are, and he's still going. He's just three wins away from being one of less than 20 active pitchers with 100+ victories.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Soto getting nailed at second at the company softball game
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It seems like nailed at second is a season theme. But hey! A lead! That's certainly not a season theme!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago And that lead flips over four batters into the first! That's a theme!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Two-base error on a pickoff attempt! Themes! whippoorwill 1
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Vientos is the future of the Mets, we just haven't waited long enough. Remember 2024? He hit 27 home runs in 2024!
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Good lord can this team maybe just… i dunno… choose not to play like shit?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Ewing homering. Off a lefty. Not shit! It's above shit! It's, like, super-shit! Though that doesn't quite sound right. MFS62 1
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Brett Baty, also raising his game, somehows.

Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Danny Young, Jeremy Hefner. I'm hearing all sorts of former Mets names already.

Their first-base coach is the guy who led the Mets to some off-the-charts baserunning numbers for most of last year. And before this game is over, there's a good chance we see Cookie Carrasco. And then there's that Dom Smith guy.

Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 43 minutes ago Posted 43 minutes ago Can't believe the Mets still allow the Kars 4 Kids scam to be advertised or to sponsor them. That organization is so bad California straight up banned them from airing commercials.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago If I had a Time Machine, I would go back in time and force Michael Harris’ father to wear a condom. later whippoorwill 1
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Astoundingly, the Mets are still winning.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 11 minutes ago Posted 11 minutes ago Vientos and McLean each have an error, which proves this official scorer will reward a fielder with an error if he tries hard enough. As often comes to pass, the Mets' better reliever are all well rested, but I would have them ride McLean as far as he will take them.
Nick Morabito Syracuse Mets - AAA CF On Tuesday, Morabito went 2-for-4 with a walk. He also stole his 23rd and 24th bases. Explore Nick Morabito News >
