Diaz didn't fool anyone. He faced 4 hitters and 3 of them hit absolute bullets. Luckily, 2 of them were at corner infielders and the other stayed in the park (barely) due to the tall right field wall.

A sidebar to this winning streak is that they keep facing teams on the periphery of contention, so each win has a chance to deeply alter a team's fates.



Buster Posey is up in the president's suite, taking calls from sellers, and after Alonso snags that liner, he has to hang up and start calling buyers.
