Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 You could tell Zimmo won the footrace by the way Kershaw spun to try and get the real 3rd out
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Nimmo by a half-a-foot nets a run.Now how do you set the runners if Pete was trying to score from second on the play? He wasn't, but he could have been.

He is a smart fielder with good hands, but he moves around like a late-stage Bill Buckner and he has for a while now. He looks like he arrived at the park after working a full shift herding cows on horseback.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 If Megill can get through this inning unscathed it'll be more than decent outing considering the start.9 - 1- 2 due up and he's already taken care of #9
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Magillicutty is seemingly getting stronger.Of course, the first-inning rally all happened after striking out Ohtani.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 There it is. He is pitcher of record on the long side, and may even have enough left to come out for the sixth.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 And he goes a sweet six and gets a Bravo! from Keith.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 That's a real nice bounceback after the craptacular first inning. Well done by Megill.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 This Casparius guy in ghosting NYM haters so far.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Nimmo isn't the first Met to swing a sledgehammer in lieu of a bat. [fimg=500]https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/6GgAAOSwzgRWz7xv/s-l960.jpg[/fimg]

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 That jumped away from Alvarez like his glove had a pop-o-matic in it.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Is everyone on the Dodgers hitting over .400 w/RiSP for the season?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 (edited) Book 'em Garrett!!Retires 3-4-5 in the lineup after 2nd & 3rd and no outs!!!! Edited June 3, 2025 by Guest

In fairness to Freddie, he's been playing with leg issues most of the season and even going back to last year. But I guess you could say the same thing with Buckner back in the day. FFF does turn 36 in September
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 I figgered.Apart from Buckner, the other guy he reminds me of is late-stage Kirk Gibson. With the Dodgers going to the lefty, do you stick with Baty as the pinch-hitter, or go to Torrens?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Man, Brazzy worked as hard as anybody last night.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 And so we go from trying to avoid extra innings to praying for them.
