At least we got them for opening day. There are two weekends coming up (vs LAD in May, at PHI in June) in which the Friday game is Apple, Saturday Fox, and Sunday ESPN.

They've only announced the Apple schedule through the end of June but yes, there are 3 Mets games including yesterday. The Dodgers also have 3. Not surprisingly you won't see the White Sox or Colorado or Sacramento on that schedule.



I'm aware there's a 5 appearance limit in the Sunday night slot but haven't heard that about Apple.



As for the future, of course you were exaggerating but if Apple took the ESPN games, that wouldn't be bad.

So three Apple+ games in the first half and, assuming they aren't stuck in the mud come July, maybe three to five more in the second half?

Do you suppose the cable companies are going to give us 4-5% discounts on account of the games taken off their slate? Yeah, probably not.





In the meantime, not a lot of hittin' going on thru 2-1/2 games.
