G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 (edited) Remember Paul Blackburn? I doubt I did more than fleetingly during the postseason. Edited October 22, 2024 by Guest

Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is an ultrafiltrate of plasma contained within the ventricles of the brain and the subarachnoid spaces of the cranium and spine.[1] It performs vital functions, including providing nourishment, waste removal, and protection to the brain. That sounds rough. Hoping for a full recovery. Maybe we see him in May or so.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 He's arbitration eligible. Spotrac estimates him at $6MM next year. I wonder if this makes him a non-tender candidate.I was unimpressed by Blackburn. Not even sure he's a fifth starter. 5.18 ERA as a Met. 1.562 WHIP. None of his stuff seemed impressive at all. I'd be fine to let him walk and find a reclamation project with more upside.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 If they non-tender him, does he lose his medical benefits? If so, I would hope he can pick up identical coverage under ERISA.Later
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 I'm fine with him as the fifth starter, you know, here in Syracuse. Come on by the Fman house, I'll grill you a hot dog
