Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is an ultrafiltrate of plasma contained within the ventricles of the brain and the subarachnoid spaces of the cranium and spine.[1] It performs vital functions, including providing nourishment, waste removal, and protection to the brain.

That sounds rough. Hoping for a full recovery. Maybe we see him in May or so.

He's arbitration eligible. Spotrac estimates him at $6MM next year. I wonder if this makes him a non-tender candidate.



I was unimpressed by Blackburn. Not even sure he's a fifth starter. 5.18 ERA as a Met. 1.562 WHIP. None of his stuff seemed impressive at all.



I'd be fine to let him walk and find a reclamation project with more upside.

If they non-tender him, does he lose his medical benefits?

If so, I would hope he can pick up identical coverage under ERISA.
