Paul Blackburn will make his second start as a Met against Randy Feltner tonight



People seem to forget that Blackburn has been an all star and it should really not be surprising if he spins some decent games

Why must the positions be in unreadable colors in lower case and

in a smaller size than the player's names? The player names are

perfect. Utterly perfect!



I know the reason, asking for a friend who I won't tell the reason!

I think I'll just click through all of the thousand channels or so that I have to figure out what channel the game is on. And if that doesn't work, I'll do the same for the 8:30PM time slot. And if that doesn't work, then I'll do the same for the 9:00PM time slot. Eventually, I'll figure out when and where the game is on. I guess I could skip TCM and the batshit crazy religious channels because I know the game won't be on any of those channels. That oughtta save me about four seconds worth of clicking.

You can also get the lineups from about a zillion different places but that doesn't stop one or two people from making a big Broadway production over the lineup every game.

Someone that's starting an IGT when the roosters are out there cock-a-doodle-dooing it obviously can't post the lineups then. It's too damn early. That's what you get when you start an IGT so goddamn early. But the game start time and a local channel?

I can't say for certain, but it's his third stolen base, and I'm thinking the other two were on the tail end of double-steals.

Well, there was a replacement pitcher last night and we didn't exactly take him to task.







Don't like that steal attempt w/2 outs, a runner on 3rd and Nimmo up, even a cold Nimmo.

I am in Denver but opted to watch this one from my hotel. I am just too tired from work to endure two 45+ minute Uber rides and a ballpark crowd. Plus the forecast looked a bit touch and go.



Having said that, my hotel inexplicably does not carry the channel on which this game is being aired locally. I have to watch on my tablet despite this suite having two big televisions. So that's stupid. They are carrying FS1 which has the SD/PIT Game. In Denver. What the actual hell is that all about
